The Bears were always in this as a candidate for getting Jay Cutler, however they really flew under the radar in all of this.
On the other side of the things the Denver Broncos had to honor Cutler's demand for the trade to end a dismal relationship between the two sides. ? It's not like the Broncos didn't get a good deal in return as there were many teams interested in in Cutler, but in the end it was the Chicago Bears that had the best package to fit the Broncos needs.
